    The Great Pyramid, the Valley Temple and the Sphinx. The Step Pyramid of Djoser and the colossus of Ramses II.

  3. Day 3Coptic Cairo · Islamic Cairo

    The Hanging Church, Abu Serga and the Ben Ezra Synagogue. The mosques of Sultan Hassan and Al-Rifa'i.

  4. Day 4Drive to Alexandria · Alexandria · Back to Cairo

    Three hours north to the Mediterranean. The Catacombs of Kom el-Shoqafa, Pompey's Pillar, the Bibliotheca Alexandrina and the Citadel of Qaitbay. Drive back to your hotel in Cairo.

  5. Day 5Grand Egyptian Museum · National Museum of Egyptian Civilization · Sleeper train to Aswan

    Tutankhamun's treasures in the new museum beside the pyramids. The Royal Mummies Hall. A private cabin overnight, with dinner and breakfast.

  6. Day 6High Dam and Philae · Felucca sail · Board your Nile cruise

    The Aswan High Dam, then a boat to the Temple of Isis on Philae. A traditional sailboat around Elephantine Island. Cabin, lunch and dinner on board.

  7. Day 7Kom Ombo and Edfu

    Sailing north, with the double temple at Kom Ombo and the Temple of Horus at Edfu.

  8. Day 8Karnak and Luxor Temple

    The great Hypostyle Hall at Karnak, then Luxor Temple.

  9. Day 9Disembark · Luxor West Bank · Drive to Hurghada

    Leave the ship after breakfast. The Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. Four hours across the desert to the Red Sea.
