Terms and conditions

This text is a draft and must be reviewed by a lawyer before launch.

These terms apply to every trip booked with New Capital Tours ("we", "us").

1. Proposals and prices

  • Every trip is quoted individually in US dollars. A proposal is valid for the period stated on it.
  • Prices shown on this website as "from" are per person, based on the conditions described with them, and are confirmed only in a written proposal.
  • Amounts shown in other currencies are approximate and for information only.
  • Hotel, ship and flight prices can change until they are booked. We hold them only once you confirm.

2. Booking and payment

  • A booking is confirmed when we receive your deposit and send written confirmation.
  • The deposit amount and the balance due date are stated in your proposal.
  • Card payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

3. Your responsibilities

  • You must hold a passport valid for at least six months after your return, and any visa required for your nationality.
  • You must tell us about any medical condition, mobility need or dietary requirement that affects your trip.
  • Travel insurance covering cancellation, medical care and repatriation is strongly recommended.

4. Changes

  • By you: we will try to accommodate any change. Changes may carry costs charged by hotels, ships or airlines.
  • By us: occasionally we must change part of an itinerary, for example when a site closes or a ship's schedule changes. We will offer an alternative of equal or higher standard, or a refund of the affected service.
  • Security: desert and Sinai routes follow current official guidance. We may change or cancel them if that guidance changes.

5. Cancellation

Our cancellation policy sets out the charges if you cancel.

6. Liability

We choose our suppliers carefully and are responsible for the services we arrange. We are not liable for events outside our reasonable control, such as extreme weather, strikes, government action or airline schedule changes.

7. Complaints

If something is not right during your trip, tell your coordinator straight away so we can fix it. After your trip, write to +20 110 114 4459 (WhatsApp).

8. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
