The Great Pyramid, the Valley Temple and the Sphinx. The Step Pyramid of Djoser and the colossus of Ramses II.
Day 3Fly to Aswan · High Dam and Philae · Felucca sail · Board your Nile cruise
An early flight south. The Aswan High Dam, then a boat to the Temple of Isis on Philae. A traditional sailboat around Elephantine Island. Cabin, lunch and dinner on board.
Day 4Kom Ombo and Edfu
Sailing north, with the double temple at Kom Ombo and the Temple of Horus at Edfu.
Day 5Karnak and Luxor Temple
The great Hypostyle Hall at Karnak, then Luxor Temple.
Day 6Disembark · Luxor West Bank · Fly back to Cairo
Leave the ship after breakfast. The Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. An evening flight to Cairo.
Day 7Grand Egyptian Museum · The Citadel · Khan el-Khalili
Tutankhamun's treasures in the new museum beside the pyramids. Saladin's fortress and the Mosque of Muhammad Ali. The old bazaar and its cafés.
Day 8Departure from Cairo
Transfer to Cairo airport and help with check-in.
