Day 1Arrival in Cairo

Day 2Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx · Grand Egyptian Museum · The Citadel
The Great Pyramid, the Valley Temple and the Sphinx. Tutankhamun's treasures in the new museum beside the pyramids. Saladin's fortress and the Mosque of Muhammad Ali.
Day 3Fly to Luxor · Luxor West Bank · Karnak and Luxor Temple
An early flight south. The Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. The great Hypostyle Hall at Karnak, then Luxor Temple.
Day 4Drive to Aswan · High Dam and Philae · Felucca sail
Three hours south by road. The Aswan High Dam, then a boat to the Temple of Isis on Philae. A traditional sailboat around Elephantine Island.
Day 5Abu Simbel · Fly back to Cairo
An early drive south to the temples of Ramses II and Nefertari. An evening flight to Cairo.
Day 6Departure from Cairo
Transfer to Cairo airport and help with check-in.
