Met inside the terminal and driven to your hotel. Tutankhamun's treasures in the new museum beside the pyramids. The Great Pyramid, the Valley Temple and the Sphinx.
Day 2Saqqara and Memphis · Dahshur
The Step Pyramid of Djoser and the colossus of Ramses II. The Bent Pyramid and the Red Pyramid.
Day 3Drive to Alexandria · Alexandria · Back to Cairo
Three hours north to the Mediterranean. The Catacombs of Kom el-Shoqafa, Pompey's Pillar, the Bibliotheca Alexandrina and the Citadel of Qaitbay. Drive back to your hotel in Cairo.
Day 4Fly to Luxor · Luxor West Bank · Karnak and Luxor Temple
An early flight south. The Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. The great Hypostyle Hall at Karnak, then Luxor Temple.
Day 5Drive to Aswan · High Dam and Philae
Three hours south by road. The Aswan High Dam, then a boat to the Temple of Isis on Philae.
Day 6Abu Simbel · Fly back to Cairo
An early drive south to the temples of Ramses II and Nefertari. An evening flight to Cairo.
Day 7Departure from Cairo
Transfer to Cairo airport and help with check-in.
