Day by day
Day 1Cairo to the White Desert
Leave Cairo early for Bahariya Oasis, about four and a half hours by road. Switch to a 4x4 for the Black Desert, Crystal Mountain and Agabat, then set up camp among the white formations at sunset.
Day 2Sunrise and return
Watch the sun rise over the chalk, breakfast at camp, and drive back to Cairo by late afternoon.
